Psychologist (Clinical Psychology Registrar)

Georgia is a warm and compassionate psychologist currently undertaking the Clinical Psychology Registrar program. She has experience supporting children, adolescents, families and adults across public hospital and community mental health settings, including the Royal Children's Hospital and headspace. Georgia brings curiosity and empathy to her work and welcomes clients and families from diverse cultural backgrounds, genders, and sexualities.

Georgia works from a trauma-informed, attachment-focused and family systems lens and is particularly passionate about working with adolescents and young people (15-25 years) and their families. She understands this stage of life as one of significant change and is passionate about the importance of supportive and collaborative early intervention in this space.

Georgia has special interests in supporting parent-child relationships, anxiety, trauma-related difficulties, eating and body image concerns, self-esteem, perfectionism, and relationship issues. Her work is informed by evidence-based modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy and Interpersonal Psychotherapy.

Georgia also conducts comprehensive assessments as part of her practice. She is committed to providing personalised recommendations that help young people, families and educators better understand and confidently address their needs.
