Megan is a registered clinical psychologist, completing her doctorate at The University of Auckland and has since worked in a range of clinical settings both public and private in Auckland, Sydney, London and more recently Melbourne. Megan has experience working with adolescents and adults presenting with a range of difficulties including anxiety, panic, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, self-esteem, body image, eating disorders, self-harm, interpersonal difficulties, emotional regulation. 


Megan has particular experience working with clients with a diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder. She worked at The Sydney Clinic a private hospital providing DBT group therapy for clients with borderline personality disorder.


In London, Megan was trained and supervised by Vartouhi Ohanion in Schema Therapy. Vartouhi has been instrumental in introducing, disseminating and providing ISST accredited training in Schema Therapy in the UK. Megan has completed Schema Therapy Training specifically for eating disorders and is currently in the process of gaining ISST accreditation in Schema Therapy.


Megan works collaboratively with each client, developing a strong therapeutic relationship to jointly develop an understanding of the current difficulties and provide an evidence-based treatment approach tailored to meet the needs of her clients. Megan’s main therapy models include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Attachment Based Family Therapy and Schema Therapy.
