Elaine is a Registered Psychologist with a Doctorate in Educational Psychology from University College Dublin, Ireland.

She has experience across educational, healthcare and private sectors, supporting children and young people with a range of presentations, including learning difficulties, neurodevelopmental differences, and related emotional or behavioural challenges.

Elaine has experience conducting comprehensive cognitive, academic, and diagnostic assessments, providing individualised reports and recommendations to support learning and development.

She also delivers therapeutic interventions drawing on evidence-based approaches, including CBT, ACT, and mindfulness, with a neuro-affirmative, person-centred, and strengths-based approach.

Elaine began her career as a primary school teacher, which continues to inform her understanding of learning and her collaborative work with schools and families.

Her research interests include restorative practice and understanding children’s behaviour as communication, and she has published research in this area.

Elaine is registered with AHPRA and is a Chartered member of the Psychological Society of Ireland.
