Olivia Cincotta-Lee

Letters: BPsych(Hons), MPsych (Clin)
Psychologist
AHPRA #: PSY0002603414

Olivia is a warm and compassionate Registered Psychologist (Clinical Registrar) with over eight years of experience supporting children, adolescents and their families in a variety of settings. With expertise spanning specialist disability services, early intervention for autistic children, and specialist mental health services, Olivia has worked across a diverse range of clinical environments, providing comprehensive care to individuals and groups in need.

Throughout her career, Olivia has been involved in a wide array of roles. She has coordinated and facilitated therapeutic support groups, managed an Anxiety & OCD Helpline, and worked in early intervention programs for children with anxiety. As a provisional psychologist, Olivia delivered parent-led Cognitive Behavioural Therapy programs for children with anxiety and conducted detailed child intelligence and educational assessments. Her work at the Central Australian Aboriginal Congress in Alice Springs allowed her to provide culturally sensitive therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, while also leading group therapy programs for Aboriginal women in custody and those in alcohol and drug rehabilitation.

Olivia is particularly passionate about working with children from preschool through adolescence. She has special interests in supporting parent-child relationships, neurodiversity, emotional regulation, behavioural challenges, anxiety, self-esteem, and high-risk behaviours such as self-harm and suicidality. She is also committed to supporting parents throughout the perinatal period and early childhood years.

Olivia’s therapeutic approach is collaborative and person-centred, prioritising each client’s individual needs and strengths. She tailors her interventions to create a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment where clients—whether children, adolescents, or parents—feel heard, valued, and supported in making meaningful, positive change.

Olivia also conducts comprehensive assessments as a part of her practice, with a particular focus on helping families navigate their child’s strengths and areas for development in relation to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism, and Specific Learning Difficulties (e.g., dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia). Through these assessments, Olivia provides personalised recommendations designed to empower young people, their families, and educators to better understand and confidently address their unique needs
