Jo began her career working with couples at Monash IVF, Clayton. She has also worked with men and women suffering from perinatal depression at the Post-Natal and Antenatal Depression Association (PANDA). Such experience piqued Jo’s interest in working with children and led her to employment in the education system for many years. Jo has worked in both primary and secondary schools where she has gained valuable experience advocating for children and adolescents.


Jo enjoys and specialises in treating anxiety & depression, behavioural issues, self-esteem, body image, bullying, grief & loss, family separation and relationship issues. She also provides support and strategies for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder & Autism Spectrum Disorder.


Jo is passionate about supporting young people and their families and providing a space where they feel heard, valued and supported. She has a joyful personality and is known for quickly developing rapport and trust with clients. Jo implements numerous techniques in therapy, particularly Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Solution-Focused Psychology. She is enthusiastic about introducing Art Therapy to her practice in the future.
