Paula is a registered psychologist and Member of the Australia Psychological Society (APS). Paula is currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology (Post Registration) and undertaking a placement with Melbourne Children’s Psychology Clinic.

Paula has over 16 years’ experience providing counselling to clients with a range of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, addiction, bereavement and trauma. She also works with assisting clients with adapting to stressful life transitions and emotional regulation difficulties. She has had experience working in the mental health not-for-profit community sector including Headspace and the Health to Health Mental hub supporting complex clients with co-occurring mental health issues, social disadvantage and physical health conditions.

Paula brings to the therapeutic relationship respect, warmth, sensitivity and a compassionate approach which focuses on identifying and responding to the unique needs of each person and tailoring this to facilitate meaningful growth and positive change through the healing process.

In therapy, Paula is able to draw upon a range of therapeutic frameworks including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy and Mindfulness techniques.
