Megan is a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Megan has experience working in private practice, community mental health and hospital settings, working with a variety of clients across the lifespan. Megan has an interest in youth mental health (ages 12-25) and in working with new parents in the perinatal period. Megan is passionate about assisting clients to navigate the challenges that can arise in these life stages, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, adjustment issues, loss of identity and relationship difficulties, self-harm and grief and loss.
Megan employs a person centred, collaborative, and evidence-based approach to treatment, with a focus on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, while providing a compassionate and non-judgement environment for clients.
Megan has completed Perinatal Non-Directive Counselling Training through the APS, along with perinatal specific training through the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE) and the Selini Institute.
