Jacqui Green is a registered Clinical and Counselling psychologist with over 15 years’ experience working as a psychologist with young people and their families in Australia, Canada and England. Jacqui has worked in a range of clinical settings such as schools, mental health services and specialist early intervention services. Her work has focused on children and young people of all ages from infancy through to 18 years. Jacqui has a particular interest in parenting approaches as well as school refusal. Jacqui has completed a Masters Degree in Psychology (Counselling) at Monash University and is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists

Jacqui’s therapeutic style is holistic and inclusive, working together with families and schools to build a supportive team around the young person. She is committed to a coordinated approach in the provision of individual therapy for children, family centred practice, school consultation, and positive behaviour support.  Jacqui uses a variety of evidence-based techniques in her therapeutic work including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, play therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).  

Jacqui has specialist training in the assessment and counselling for children and adolescents on issues such as depression, anxiety, bullying, stress, anger management, social difficulties, school refusal, behavioural issues, self-esteem, grief and loss, family separation or conflict, coping with change and life adjustments.
