Emily is a Psychologist with general registration, currently undertaking the Clinical Registrar program.
Emily aims to provide a safe and non-judgmental environment for each client to feel comfortable sharing their inner experiences. She seeks to develop a shared understanding of the client’s inner experiences, and support clients to gain insight into their difficulties.
Emily has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across educational settings, community mental health, and private practice. Emily works with a range of mental health concerns including anxiety and mood disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, attachment difficulties, emotional dysregulation, trauma, disordered eating and body image concerns, interpersonal difficulties, and neurodevelopmental challenges (Autism and Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).
Emily is experienced in delivering Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and may also incorporate elements of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
