Emily is a psychologist with general registration, currently undertaking the Clinical Registrar program. Emily adopts a warm and gentle approach to supporting clients, and aims to understand what works for each individual and adopting her approach based on this.

Emily is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and their families and has experience working across public (including inpatient and community settings), private practice, and school settings. Emily’s clinical interests include anxiety, depression, stress, perfectionism, attachment concerns, emotion regulation difficulties, OCD, ADHD, and situational mutism.

Emily is committed to adopting a neurodiversity-affirming approach to her practice, and has a particular interest in supporting young Autistic people.

Emily is trained and experienced in working with Eating Disorders and is trained in first-line treatment approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Enhanced (CBT-E) and Family Based Treatment (FBT).

Emily incorporates a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
