Melbourne Children’s Psychology Clinic

Counselling and Therapy for Young Adults in Melbourne (Ages 18–25)

Supporting identity, wellbeing and direction during a time of growth and transition.

This stage of life often involves reshaping identity, relationships, values and direction. It can be meaningful and exciting — and also overwhelming, confusing or emotionally heavy at times. Many young adults reach out when they feel stuck, unsure, or stretched between expectations, responsibilities and change.

At Melbourne Children’s Psychology Clinic (MCPC), we offer a space to slow down, reflect and understand what has been happening. Together, we explore what matters to you, support emotional wellbeing and develop tools for confidence, clarity and self-understanding. Our approach is collaborative, neuroaffirming and centred on your strengths and goals.

We’re here to help you explore whether counselling feels like a good fit.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your first session is a space to talk about what has been happening and what feels most important to you right now. You can share as much or as little as feels comfortable.

Sessions may include reflection, learning coping tools, exploring patterns, making sense of identity and values, and planning supportive next steps. You’ll be supported to apply strategies gradually in daily life — so change feels grounded and sustainable.
