Julia is a provisional psychologist currently completing a Masters in Psychology (Clinical Psychology) program. She has experience working with individuals across the lifespan in a range of settings including community, not-for-profit, private practice, and hospital environments. Julia has worked extensively with children and adolescents with neurodevelopment disorders (i.e. Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome) through her part-time roles as both a behaviour therapist and disability support worker.
Julia approaches treatment with a client-centred focus with her key focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship with clients and their families. Julia draws on a range of therapy modalities (e.g. cognitive-behavioural, attachment, psychodynamic) that are tailored to suit the needs of each individual client.
