Emily is a provisional psychologist, who is currently completing her Master of Psychology (Clinical) program at Federation University Australia.
Emily has experience working in multiple settings including an internal university clinic, an educational setting, and in community mental health. Emily has worked across the lifespan and has experience working with a number of presentations including anxiety, depression, body image issues, trauma, interpersonal difficulties, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Emily has experience in conducting assessments and therapeutic interventions via Telehealth. Furthermore, Emily has experience in conducting intelligence and achievement assessments and writing comprehensive cognitive assessment reports.
Emily practices within a cognitive-behavioural therapy framework. Emily aims to develop a safe space for clients to share their difficulties, with a focus on working collaboratively and developing a thorough understanding of each client’s needs in order to tailor evidence-based treatment accordingly.
