Alison is a Provisional Psychologist with a strong foundation in education and developmental psychology and a passion for supporting individuals to reach their potential. She holds a Diploma of Teaching, a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Development, a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours and a Masters in Professional Psychology. Alison is currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology, further developing her expertise in evidence-based therapeutic interventions and clinical practice.

Alison has worked extensively in education, supporting students with neurodevelopmental disorders, including ASD, ADHD, and Specific Learning Disorder. She is passionate about understanding and accommodating children and adolescents’ social, emotional and learning needs and advocating for inclusive practices.

Alison also has experience in private practice and school psychology settings, where she has provided psychological interventions to individuals with a range of presentations, including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, perfectionism, self-harm and body image issues.

Alison particularly enjoys working with children, adolescents, and families to navigate challenges and work together toward positive change. She endeavours to empower individuals and families through collaborative goal-setting and providing evidence-based strategies to achieve these outcomes. Alison believes building a trusting relationship in an inclusive environment underpins a therapeutic process where individuals can grow and thrive.
