About MCPC
Dr Felicity McFarlane and Dr Georgina Swinburne are the principal psychologists at MCPC and are members of the Australian Psychological Society, the Australian Clinical Psychology Association, and the Australian Association of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. They formed a partnership in 2008 with a vision of creating a service that understood the unique needs of toddlers, children, adolescents, and their families.
Dr McFarlane and Dr Swinburne have over 25 years of training and experience between them. They have worked in a number of child & adolescent mental health services associated with Melbourne hospitals including; The Royal Children's Hospital, The Austin Hospital, The Alfred Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. Dr Swinburne has also worked in Take Two which is a clinical service for children under the care of Child Protection that have suffered significant trauma and abuse.
